The Next Pasture is a division of Black's Farm and Livestock.  Back in the 1940's, Edgar K. Black started his own business dealing and hauling livestock. Having grown up on a farm , Edgar bought a 50 acre farm in Skippack and expanded his business to include his family.  By this time, his children had already started raising animals of their own including horses, cows, goats, and sheep.

Today Edgar has since retired and passed on, but the tradition has carried on through the next two generations, as well as the family's love of animals. We as a family own a herd of animals including several goats, sheep, chickens, cattle, and horses. Many members of our family still enjoy riding and training their horses in their spare time.

We hope that Black's Farm and Livestock and the Next Pasture continue to serve the animal community for many years to come.
